That's quite scary! Though it does go against a recent post on here by someone saying the SA's are supposed to destroy any lost cards handed in so that points can't be "stolen".

Still starlite - if this SA is so blasé about using other people's cards, hopefully she'll be equally relaxed about putting all the <cough> scams <cough> thru the till! ;)

Indeed...very bad of her, like i said a bit like c.c fruad?Thought similar when I used dp's advntage card to buy a buggy with points at £80 and noone noticed i wasn't mr. ......
..but must remember to have her on the radar for future trips when i want to push the tills to their limits...

She probably meant to try and get vouchers from the AC machine with them, not to actually spend the points on the other cards...I would hope!!

Sorry had to get this off my chest - Here is a copy of a complaint that I have just made to Customer Service - Via e-mail.

I am really sorry to have to e-mail you again as I only made a complaint last week in regards to the service in your store and now I have gone back in and again treated appallingly.
I purchased a no7 gift and picked up a NO7 free gift bag and was also making a second purchase of No7 as well and wanted to take out the 250 points voucher from my bag to use on my second purchase - I thought that this would be fine as I would have paid for the bag and "owned" it by the time of the second transaction.

However the sales girl was very rude to me and practically accused me of stealing! I said that I did not want to use it on the first purchase as I understood that I could not do this but wanted it on the second.

The sales assistant then turned to her collegues raised her eyebrows and huffed and put the first transaction through - at the end she remarked "I suppose you have a No7 voucher as well!" which I did.

On the second transaction I was also buying an outfit for my daughter and the total came to £9.99 so I asked if I could make it up to over £10 to get another voucher - again a huff and a remark made about the length of the queue. I handed over my No7 voucher and product - 250 point voucher and made my payment with another No7 voucher. "Oh you have another one do you!" quoted the sales assistant. Took my payment and shoved my receipt in the bag.

I was in a rush and went to leave the store and then the most embarassing thing happened that the security alarms started to bleep as I left the store. 2 sales assistants came running over and I stated that I had just bought a No7 gift from upstairs. They then made me empty my whole bag - even though they knew which one had the tag on and then made me go through the whole receipts - this is when I noticed that the 250 points had not been added on! However I was in no mood to ask them to add them then.

I was treated like a thief even though I had receipts to prove that I had purchased everything.

What with a sarcastic sales assistant and other assistants who think that they are part time police officers I can safely say that I have never been so embarressed in my life. I just hope no-one that I know had seen me.

I would like to point out the only reason I had so many No7 vouchers is that I am a REGULAR CUSTOMER, not that I got treated like one today.

I am sorry that this e-mail is so long but I am so annoyed if I don't get it off my chest now I will become more angry.
  • Hi, don't know who can help me. I bought the No7 organiser today, got the purple bag and bought 9 face masks. I paid with the £5 voucher and received 900 points for the facemasks. Total cost £13.- However, I didn't receive another £5 voucher. If I call Boots, will they get funny because I have been buying a fair amount of face masks lately (I do actually use them, the extra points are a big added bonus)? Could they take my card from me when I buy big quantities when they do their creative pricing? Don't want to risk losing my points...

In my opinion a very nice letter of complaint, factual and too the point, the way you have phrased it put ME in that situation and i also feel your embarasment and probably anxiety at shopping in that store again, although I must say i'm afraid I wouldn't have kept silent at all the rude coments made by the SA (they wouldn't wanna stand in my way as i am substituting my cigarette addiction with my new found Boots addiction lol )
Running total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan
    Running total for superpoints -

I think I would have had something to say to her too! Good manners cost nothing. If I was in a real bolshy mood I would have reported her to the Manager there and then.
Did you get an apology off the other two?........if not, I would mention that in the email....that was adding insult to injury!
