i had the no 7 moisturiser at £16 put through and the lilac bag and other stuff, all tucked nicely in the carrier before i produced the vouchers.. all went well till she asked for the money!??! how much?? when i queried the (wrong) amount and the stuff was checked the elusive LILAC BAG was removed and put back on the shelf.. so beware!

She picked them up for me and said that they were on BOGOF. So I said ok I will have them instead and forget the lilac bag.

She scanned the items and the soltan and No 7 were BOGOF. I then went to give her the £5 voucher and she said "you can't use that on suncare - only make-up" :mad: Obviously I knew you could because you lot have so I asked her where it stated this and she told me it stated this info. on the back. I asked her to show me where and passed her the voucher.

You guessed it, it did not state it anywhere and when she scanned it and it worked her face was a picture and she had to apologise

Thing that is annoying, if I didn't read this thread I wouldn't have known any different (mind you if I didn't read this thread I wouldn't have been in Boots in the first place!)

Total for soltan and No7 sets 2.99!

Sorry so long but the moral of the story is - don't believe the crabby SA's! like you all point out, if the till accepts it what is the problem?

Going to try again for the pink bag on Sunday! (hope you get one Pash)

im off to kettering boots today ,, hopeing against hope for a decent acm spit . as we dont have an acm .. armed with £15 in vouchers from mums ops and pigsback . hope i get a good voucher taking all the familys cards with me just to have a go . wish me luck peeps .

I'm off to a different Boots today - dh thinks I'll be banned from my usual one, but he's getting so keen on all my bargains he's offered to take me somewhere else and look after the children whilst I hunt! :T :rotfl:

WOW lucky you mummysaver, whilst he's got the kids and you are in an all new Boots, make it worth your while and really go for broke.
