Got 5 skin clear masks and I intend to use them :P Hope they help clear up my crappy spotty skin. The SA at the till took a moment to look over the receipt, I think she was confused why I got more points than the amount I paid, but there wasn't any trouble

what i do is make a list of the bargains to look for .and work out the most for my money . print it out and take it with me . then head for the sale section . no acm in our boots so miss out on loads of points though

I've sat here tonight reading bobs and MSE and have written a list of things I want to look for in Boots and some other things I want to/need to do when I go shopping. Am just about to print it out and get everything together for when I go out tomorrow.

I do far better when I write out a list of things to look for

hi ,
if you go to the ac machine there should be a voucher for 100 points for a purchase of skin clear (think thats what its called ), print 1 voucher off , the cheapest thing you can buy are sachets of face mask @ 89p each , if you purchase 5 of these you will / should recieve 500 points ect !!!!!! although dont think boots have intended them to !!!! hope this makes sense

She picked them up for me and said that they were on BOGOF. So I said ok I will have them instead and forget the lilac bag.

She scanned the items and the soltan and No 7 were BOGOF. I then went to give her the £5 voucher and she said "you can't use that on suncare - only make-up" :mad: Obviously I knew you could because you lot have so I asked her where it stated this and she told me it stated this info. on the back. I asked her to show me where and passed her the voucher.

You guessed it, it did not state it anywhere and when she scanned it and it worked her face was a picture and she had to apologise

Thing that is annoying, if I didn't read this thread I wouldn't have known any different (mind you if I didn't read this thread I wouldn't have been in Boots in the first place!)

Total for soltan and No7 sets 2.99!

Sorry so long but the moral of the story is - don't believe the crabby SA's! like you all point out, if the till accepts it what is the problem?

Going to try again for the pink bag on Sunday! (hope you get one Pash)

Got the new No 7 Naturally Sunkissed Body Moisturiser today, it's like the Johnsons Holiday Skin stuff. It's £8.50, reduced to £6.50 with voucher from machine and using No 7 voucher only £1.50.

With my other No 7 voucher got, Pre Holiday Conditioning Face Serum £7.50 and AfterSun Cooling Facial Balm £7.50, but on BOGOF and a lilac bag, so only £2.50.

Ooooh.. Also, got another reduced kids Soltan set, a different one this time, 400ml of factor 15, 200ml of factor 30 and 200ml of aftersun in a drawstring see through bag, £6.24. Unfortunately only one left in Birmingham High Street so got a non reduced large Aftersun gel for my BOGOF.

I hope we get lots of sunshine this summer!

Also, went to The Fort this evening, noticed that the No 7 suncare there says "All No 7 Sun Buy One Get One Free" in the Birmingham High St branch, the sign says just the sun protection is on BOGOF. Can't exactly remember the signs, but that was the gist

I gotta stop reading all these posts. I even dreamt about what I was gonna buy from Boots the other night - sad or what?! And my local boots doesnt even have an ACM but I'm addicted to this post. Anyway, armed with plenty of information I am off to boot 2morrow and hopefully I will get so goodies for next to nowt. Wish me luck :T

Depends what you bought?.. Was it the Pre hol treats or sunless tan gift bags? I and a few others on here have been charged for both, yet many getting it as BOGOF..?

Its definately not BOGOF in my local stores or online.. I've given up trying to understand how Boots tills work :rotfl:
