joe13 wrote:Thanks for info, both mine are with O2. Anyone know if a £5 top up is ok with 02.
I find doing the phone top ups is a good way of getting points without buying loads of cosmetics/toileteries that i dont really need.
OH's mobile is 02, tried £5 top up but would only accept £10.

Went to top up my phone today £10 but saw some soltan tan wipes half price, thought I would get them on bogof but did'nt, not my usual Boots, and it was the very stern looking manager  serving me so did'nt say anything, anyway still got the £5 no7 voucher. :rolleyes:0

Hi all
I also went to Boots today armed with my £5 No. 7 voucher - it was almost a disaster!
Picked up 2 firm you body balms and a pink bag and noticed the crabby SA behind the beauty counter (she tried to tell me couldn't use last skincare voucher on Olay Total Effects!) so decided to go to another SA. As I walked off she came stomping up to me and told me that those items were buy one get one free and I had to spend £15 to get the bag (I want it for mothers day) and that I would have to be seved by her if I wanted No 7 items! I asked her if the till would accept the bag and she said "yes but you still have to spend £15"
I told her that I needed to also get some baby items so she took the No. 7 items off me and told me to go to her when I had finished
I picked up some baby milk and two kids soltan pack and went over to her. She then proceeded to try and sell me something else but there was nothing I wanted - I then remembered about the pre-holiday sets at £5.50 and asked her if she had any. She picked them up for me and said that they were on BOGOF. So I said ok I will have them instead and forget the lilac bag.
She scanned the items and the soltan and No 7 were BOGOF. I then went to give her the £5 voucher and she said "you can't use that on suncare - only make-up" Obviously I knew you could because you lot have so I asked her where it stated this and she told me it stated this info. on the back. I asked her to show me where and passed her the voucher.
You guessed it, it did not state it anywhere and when she scanned it and it worked her face was a picture and she had to apologise
Thing that is annoying, if I didn't read this thread I wouldn't have known any different (mind you if I didn't read this thread I wouldn't have been in Boots in the first place!)
Total for soltan and No7 sets 2.99!
Sorry so long but the moral of the story is - don't believe the crabby SA's! like you all point out, if the till accepts it what is the problem?
Going to try again for the pink bag on Sunday! (hope you get one Pash)

Netty x
When they last gave out No7 vouchers my Mum tried to get a giftset but the till wouldn't accept the voucher. The voucher had no mention of excluding Gift sets on the T&C so I asked the SA to check with her manager. She came back and said they would over ride it 'just this once'.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0
