Huge congrats MFD - I can't believe he made you wait until today!!
I love the name Benjamin (will he be Ben or not?)

Can't wait for the full story and pics.

Welcome to the wonderful world of more sleepless nights, and feeling like a dairy cow:D .

(I was wondering where everyone else was tonight - its been so quiet!)

  • Finally managed to give birth to my beautiful baby son Benjamin John at 7.54 this morning, Saturday 14th March 2009.

Benjamin weighed in at a healthy but not massive 8lbs 14.5oz.

A very long and tough journey for all of us, we are still in hospital. Every second completely worth it for my gorgeous boy. He is a joy, breastfeeding well and sleeping even better, so far he hardly murmers!

Will post birth story and pics when I get out of hospital.

    MFD xx

    :j:j:j Congratulations!!! :j:j:j

Welcome to to the world, Benjamin! I'm so happy for your Mummy & Daddy!

  • Loulee, he's probably kicking because he likes the music... I shouldn't think it's too loud for him if it's not too loud for you...

SB - I keep meaning to ask you, and any other mums who took advantage of the boots/huggies glitch. Did you manage to use all 10 packs, or did you have to exchange some?
We've still got 6 unopened packs left, but they still look like theres plenty of room in them for a bit more growing.

No, I don't think I used 10 packs (I also had lots more from other supermarket/MOC offers too! :o). I took quite a few 'back' to Asda without problem and swapped them for the next size (a tried and tested method from when I had Poppy! :D). Jamie was certainly in them for longer than the pack size suggests though.

Congratulations MFD, Welcome baby Benjamin I hope you both resume normal temperatures soon:)

Just had to have a peek to find out what on earth 'a quarter of' delivery might be, how Yum:)

elle, I have no ideas about the rest of em! I am studying, have managed to fall drastically behind, so thought, seeing as though this baby is not making any moves I best try and catch up a bit. I just popped on for news of MFD, AF. emlou...before I go to bed. For some reason the kids won't sleep past 6.30-7am don't they understand weekends are for having a lie-in. We are up by 7am every weekday!!!

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Congrats MFD!!!! Hope your temps return to normal soon. Is Benjamin under a heat lamp? DS1 was under one for an hour (before being taken to SCBU, but he was 5 weeks early) and the heat coming off that thing was mental!

Had a bath, did some studying (forgotten it all again) and going to bed now.

Have to mention that DH is accepting the pregnancy a little more every day, I MMSed the scan pic to his phone and he has been showing everyone! HUGE step for him. He has even been talking of the future and both bubs and I are in it, together! :j
