Hello everyone! Did you all get much ebaying done? Or just facebook chat?!:D

We've not told OH's girls about my pregnancy yet. I thought they were coming to us yesterday but instead have only come today. And last night I discovered "brown spotting" which really scared me. I rang the hospital this morning and spoke to a midwife who said at 12 weeks it can be implantation bleed (I'm 12 weeks tomorrow) - I'd heard of that but didn't know you could get it at 12 weeks - has anyone else had this? She also asked if I had any cramps, I remember a bit yesterday eve sometime but nothing major, I've had it every so often since my period was due, so didn't think anything of it. She told me to rest which I've tried to do and I'm a bit less worried though still apprehensive. I might not go to work tomorrow, I've still got the spotting but it hasn't got worse, but I'm not sure I want to go to work and the midwife was suggesting not to if it hasn't improved.

Anyway with all that going off I didn't think it was right to tell the girls just yet. OH whispered to me earlier that we should tell them but I said no. I've got my 12 week scan on tues so I'd now like to have that and be sure everything is OK, they're with us until tuesday anyway.

Tine - If you want a netting thingy for your moses basket to stop the cats getting in you can have ours if you would like. We bought one with DD as we were convinced the cat would be in the moses basket constantly - shes that kind of cat - but it turned out she liked to sit next to it, keeping a constant watch on DD & attacking anyone who tried to go near the baby!

I spotted at 6, 8, 10 & 12 weeks with this pg - none at all with my other 3 babes . Finally stopped worrying after scan

I'd stay at home if you feel unsure - not sure what you do, but worrying even more (probably) whilst at work isn't going to do you any good.

Glad to see the forum back up and running. I went to it a couple times this weekend, only to be reminded it was down.

Anyone know offhand how to do the taxes thing? I know the tax year just ended - where do we get forms (or can we do it online) to do our taxes for self-employed? And when do they need to be in? (please don't say I'm already late!!!) This is my first year doing this and I'm lost!

I havent left my house EA but i did dye my hair and straighten it but it did take 2 hours to do so i class that as a porductive day x

Had a tough morning at work..4hours of rushing around with no break,so no drink..I was gasping when I got home, don't think I did myself any good..had one of my headaches since.
Hubby made me a nice tea..says he's trying to fatten me up lol..he made a remark earlier that Im not looking no bigger (I'm not,yet)
Im soo looking forward to a lie in in the morning now the kids are off school and Ive got no work till next weekend :j
