So what did people do with no MSE? Any ebay listing?? (Tine?????) or decluttering etc? I've washed some teeny baby stuff and ironed it (yes, babygros & vests
) as we're off to Centre Parcs next week, so I'm taking a small bag with me 'just in case' - I'll be 35(+) weeks whilst we're there. Not that I think anything will happen! Have also done lots of other ironing - just 3 table cloths left in the airing cupboard now!
Ooh - and I finally bought a moses basket!! (I love my bear one from Tpys R us, cos I had a £5 off voucher and it's neutral in colour!!)
DH has been painting our new bedroom in the loft - 1 base coat of (slightly thinned) white on the bare plaster and 2 coats of the top colours (3 walls & ceiling in cream) and today he's doing the rear wall in a sort of aubergine/ plum (Dulux Amethyst burst, I think) - have just been to see the 1st coat of the plum - and it looks stunning, I have to say. Am going to order some new bedding from Next in a mo to go with it (http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/homeware/bedlinen/10/3 & http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/homeware/bedlinen/10/7 )
Not so sure about the 2nd one, but the 1st should go well.
Am sat here being useless, as SPD is really hurting foof today - feels like it's splitting if I try and walk, let alone do anything (took ages to get up into attic!) so am going to do some online shopping & then get quotes for car insurance (DH gets made redundant from job later this month, but does have a new job to go to - phew! However, new job has no company car, so we'll have to pay for his car insurance for the first time in years!! (and buy a car!!) We don't get his redundancy money until end of May though (around time of baby), so need to put some stuff on CCs in meantime
- just means I need to keep tabs on spends more closely than normal
Have had to skip some pages, so can someone summarise any major events of past couple of days, please ???
I know AMs got a date booked (thx to fbook) but any new births?
Welcome to newbies - have seen a few whilst skimming

Oh, sounds like you've been busy Grent. I've been doing a mass cook for the freezer. Also managed to squeeze in a visit to Ikea! OH now needs to build said wardrobe.
I really like both the bedding sets you linked - especially the 2nd one

Nope - missed it - I did see the message from you though - was too busy doing other stuff
Have now ordered 3 sets of bedding from next (oops - but will only keep 2, honest!!) - the 2 I linked to, and another on the same catalogue page - and some other bits n pieces (although nothing for bubs)

Afternoon all, just a flying visit here.
My baby is a pain in the butt and is going to get a good hiding when he comes out, been up since 2am with severe pains, only for it to all subside when i reached hospital, apparently the bad stitch like feeling is my section scar stretching, it even hurts to walk now!
I told OH i'm not coming back to hospital unless babys head is halfway out me foof cos i feel like such a fraud, I wasnt even dilating, well about 1.5cm she said which is probably because i'vr already got a bairn!
All I seem to do these days is moan! :rotfl::j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0
