I tried to get a Gaviscon prescription from the Consulant. She happily gave me a hospital script, but that would have meant at least an hour wait for aniseed flavour! I went to boots and bought my own peppermint. Looking forward to not being pregnant and getting back on tablets for heartburn. Although, I wonder if the heartburn was pregnancy related all along, like the throwing up I was on medication for!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

I decided I really ought to take some bump pictures as I haven;t yet taken any and am 24 weeks, and then I thought I'd share one with you:
Everyone tells me my bump is small for 24 weeks but I think it's quite big? After all I still have four months to go.
Share your bump pix!
Wow, mine looks like this now and I am 15+3!
OH said to me the other night that he likes me with a bit of meat on and I should get pregnant more often! He said I looked Volumputous and that from teh front my hips look bigger - I asked him if he had a death wish :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

My Dr's used to be across the road Sami but they moved to the bottom of the hill... A 20min walk away... Which is fine when I'm not pregnant, but I seem to struggle with walking from the sofa to the kitchen at the min!
I might put the repeat request in tuesday then ask the chemist if they can pick it up and deliver it for me... Just could do with it sooner rather than later
My poor Mr Tabson... He keeps trying to lick himself but it must be too sore... He's usually such a fussy and happy cat... He doesn't look at all happy today and hasn't been for a proper cuddle yet... He'll probably never forgive meA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Bang goes my night out, DS2 is poorly. DS1 is still away staying with his Aunt, Uncle and cousin but DS2 is on the sofa (with lots of sheets everywhere just incase) wrapped up in his duvet, staring at BabyTV (BabyTV is ace for sick kids) with his wee pale face and red bags under his eyes. Gave him ibuprofen, says he has a sore head probably sore throat too as he is drooling and feeling sick. I'm in for a night of it.
Feely, the moniters are fairly reliable (my GP surgery uses them). With DS1 mine didn't do anything during a contraction (had epidural as it lowers BP but didn't do anything pain wise as I had too much odemea, and was having BP taken every 15mins till I ripped it off my damn arm! :rotfl: )
My own BP is staying at 140-150/87-92, no 'symptoms' out of the ordinary. Just got to wait till wednesday for consultant to decide what to do. Trying to go through things in my head, worst case scenario and what not. If I plan for it, I can deal with it. 24 weeks and then I will have atleast gave baby the best chance, better than a termination at 10 weeks got that to hold onto.
However, it had better just stay where it bloody is, I have a weeks holiday in sherwood forest on the 13th May when I will be 25 weeks, then the week after all my exams so I want no funny business till I reach 28 thank you very muchPositive thinking :T

Jillie - I hope your pulled muscel gets better, people always use to say to me 'You've got no muscles to pull!' Yeah cheers for that!!Feelinggood - I can't really help you. Having no idea what travelling 250 miles whilst 38 weeks pg will be like. Good luck deciding.
I shall be travelling 350 miles on my own next week to do wedding preparation stuff over Easter in Pembrokeshire (where my family is) but OH can't come cause he is working/on a training course. But only thing I have to worry about at the mo is being sick in the car:eek: and making sure I can fit all the food I shall need next to me
Karen - I is from Pembs and mine and OH family are from there - what a small world. Love the fact Skinty and Hypnonu are going to same wedding!
Feelie - if it's the last opportunity to go before bubs arrives and you'll feel comfortable having the baby there - GO!!!
Welcome to the newbies -I've been very busy so just been reading today!

Aww Tia, hope your baby gets better soon! Aimee still hasn't completely recovered from whatever it was she had 2 weeks ago... She's still coughing all over the place and last night her temp went up randomly... Been fine again today... Actually... When we saw the paediatrician the other week they took a water sample from her and the paed commented she might have a water infection... I rang the Dr this morning to see if they'd had any results through... And they said they don't get copies of the results... So what happens if she has got an infection? Do they just leave the results on her hospital file until we go back in July?!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
