Thanks for the warm welcome, i am already struggling to keep up!

I will prob lurk for a while until it all sinks in, can i just ask though, how many told their mums immediately, or did you wait a while? I talk to my mum 3-4 times a day! so i am already struggling, but OH wants us to wait a while as he is worried it is all fake.
    Thanks.

Told everyone at 13 weeks but that was because we wanted to get scan out of the way frst just to make sure everything OK. My Stepmum had a blighted ovum and I remember everyone being devastated!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Yes Feelie - it's awful. OH's family were over on the weekend and worked out it was either Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.
Christmas Eve we were staying at their house and OH was plastered so his bro was saying he was surprised OH managed it as he was dribbling he was that drunk. MIL & FIL were saying OMG they had sex in our house, we didn't hear anything! Hello, after 9 years we've practised being quiet in your house!!
New Year they were at our house but I was blotto - have the pics to prove it!!

Sorry, Glam, but never in a million could I imagine that conversation happening within my family! :rotfl:

Glam My mum happily told me I was probably conceived at my Dad's aunties in Durham - Thanks for that mum!!
PS. am I the only one that won't get jiggy in someone else's bed?? :o
I had a chat with my sis and she feels the same, neither of us have done it in the spare room at mums coz we know the other stays in there too - on clean sheets obv!!
When we go up to stay with Sis we get her room coz it has space for Chris too so we haven't even contemplated it in there either - double whammy of Chris being in the room too

Erm, DH and I have been on more hols and weekends away than you can shake a stick at so yes, we have and do get jiggy in someone elses bed! ;) :rotfl: . But never ever at family's homes!

i told everyone at 13 weeks after the scan but didnt tell my mum until 15 weeks as i wanted to tell her in person and couldnt get to see her any sooner.

this baby was conceived on 20th Dec. jackson was conceived in a travel inn that we stayed in when we went to introduce OH to my mum, the second time he met her was to tell her i was pregnant! The travel inn was called the Roman Way so Roman was briefly considered as a name!

DD had her baby daughter yesterday morning, after an emergency dash in an ambulance when she hamorraeged pints of blood AT 6.30PM on Monday. They were doing to do a section on her but then decided to induce her, and baby was born at 4.20am and I was there:D .She had gas and air and an epidural and coped with the pain very well, the stitches was the worst thing apparently
She is adorabubble, and I am obsessed already:D :D

Congratulations, Nanna! Are you a Nanna? My Mum insisted as Grandma sounds too old! :D. Lots of best wishes to you, DD and DGD!
