My husband minds me buying off ebay :rotfl:
Never had any probs when buying, once I got crap goods, complained and got a refund so was happy enough.
Now I wanna go look at whats on ebay....0 -
I've only had one bad experience on ebay - I think most will experience one or two but considering how many transactions there are its bound to have problems every now n then
Most bad experiences are caused by fools who don't take the time to read the instructions tho!!
I'm feeling proud of myself nowI've got 2 decorators coming round to quote for kitchen/stairs wallpapering, one 2mo other Thursday - best bit?? MIL is paying :j:T (not the best B-day pressie OH ever got but very helpful!)
Once that done hopefully I'll have got rid of lots of rubbish and we'll be able to get the back room upstairs plastered (My mummy paying for that ) then we just need to paint it and carpet/floor and we're pretty much ready for bubba0 -

just been wandering around the internet and I found a site that does those glittery things that people always use on here and I've always wondered where they came from! http://www.pagepaint.com/index.php

Hi all..
I see we have lots up for an eBay challenge - I should have suggested it sooner! Thanks to Tine and Sami for setting up the other thread and managing the list.. I read this morning's posts at lunchtime (when I tried to post it all came out in funny font so I gave up!) and read the suggestion for a members list keeper - was hoping Sami would volunteer and not that someone had volunteered me for it!
Good point on the boards being down this weekend being a great time to get started. OH is also at work so I've got more time to myself - an a human alarm clock to give me some hope of getting up before 9am!
As suspected, OH's boss' job has gone to the external candidate. To be honest it's totally for the best (knew that from as soon as he applied!) and OH has taken it rather well so all's okayMy stupid line manager has been making me feel guilty all day cos everyone already knows (well, suspected anyway) so noone looks surprised and she seems to think it's me who's told them - I bl00dy haven't!! They just happen not to be stupid and have worked it out for themselves.. just her being naive!!
Going food shopping later.. determined to find lolly moulds!!
feelie, hope you got on okay today at the hospital.
slscarborough, do you want labour vibes yet, or as it's your third(?) shall we hold off until Thursday so we have no April Fools' Day quick labours?
AM, you fed up enough yet to want labour vibes?
Hope everyone else is okay xx0 -

Raspberry leaf.... anyone find it useful? A lot of the info says that it "reduces the level of pain in labour" and helps "prepare the uterus and the cervix" and such things..... just wondering if its true.
I am planning on taking Arnica or using Arnica cream once bubs is here to sooth the brusing of my bits, as it has always very effective on all my bruises, including ones I sustained from a car crash.
Does anyone else have any suggestions?
Hiya,:D
an Australian study has shown that raspberry leaf tea will speed up the second stage of labour (pushing stage) and reduce forceps delivery. I only have my own experience to go on but Ive read that the average lenth of second stage for a first timer is 1hr to 3 hrs. my pushing stage in the medical notes is down as 37 mins.
after the birth I used arnica cream sudocrem and brufen anti-inflammtory gel. i'd recommend them all!
