I thought they were called mini fruits  I lurved them! not seen them for ages tho
Fruit portion yes but not guaranteed to freeze due to magical science
edit - although SB just said it will so, woohoo
have you ever frozen a whole peeled banana? you can dip 'em in choccy and nuts too!! been meaning to do that for ages!
Oh, maybe they were..Like you say, been a long time since I've seen them.
Once I get lolly moulds (have set Mum a mission), I'll report back on freezability!
Don't like bananas or nuts.. but chocolate, on the other hand!I've already told OH is doing all baby meals which involve mashed banana! *shudder*

I'm sure you can get them in Tesco, I think my mold that does 4 was about £1 from poundstretcher

ooohhh see if you get pure fruit juice and add some soda water before freezing it, it makes the lollies all fizzily. Kinda like slush but more solid. And frozen custard, almost like mini milks.
Strawberries freeze if they don't touch each other ( I love them in sloer ) Most berries freeze well if they don't touch each other! So you freeze them on a tray then pop them into lollies. Actually most fruit will freeze best this way.
Bananas are gross a certain gross incident put me off them for life. But the horse loves a frozen banana in the summer! Yes, I make frozen lollies for the horse, musli in blackcurrent juice is a fave0 -

Yeah, she's more likely to go to a shop sooner than me, so she can look out for them! I'm trying to avoid shops for the foreseeable future.. they MAKE me spend money, I tell you!0 -
elle - my mould looks just like this one although I'd say if poss avoid ones with a straw coz if ur a bit dippy like me you'll forget about the straw and end up holding it so all the drips pour out of the straw and down ur top!0

I'm not sure if it was yesterday or the day before that Elle_Gee said she was only planning on finishing two weeks before her due date. That's my plan too, although like Elle_Gee, it might be first time innocence about how tired I will be. I'm sat on my bum most of the day so the most strenuous part is the 30 mile round trip. I think I'd prefer to keep as much leave as possible for to spend with the baby after he or she is born.
I finished at 39weeks with DD and as she was born almost 3 weeks later. I didn't want any time to rest beforehand and I wish I had stayed at work longer as the wait at home was driving me mad. I had an uncomplicated pregnancy and felt fine (IIRC) - I even remember that I wasn't always given a seat on the tube in the final weeks!!!!
I plan to work until as late as possible again this time (til due date) although I can review at any time and I guess work shorter days or work from home towards the end. I am being paid fully whilst on ML so it doesn't really matter when I officially leave - will just see how it goes. Assumes this pregnancy is as uncomplicated as last time.
I also wanted to say that I read the thread every day but don't post much. I love reading your posts elle_gee, and if anyone comment on the huge quantities I eat during the day I would go MAD. Thankfully, they haven't yet! You are exactly 1 week ahead of me so I like to read your thought and plans...
My thoughts are with you becky. Hope to see you here very soon.0 -
Good evening ladies.
So sorry to hear your news Becky. Hope you enjoy your holiday and come back soon.
AM – Good luck! Hope things are starting to happen if you want them to.
Catwoman – Congratulations and welcome.
Glam & Chopsticks – I feel sorry for you guys only getting SMP. I think if that’s all I was getting, I would never be able to afford to have children! It’s one of the reasons I have remained in my job mind you, because the benefits are good. How long are you guys planning on taking off? I am hoping for 9 months. Don’t think I can afford another 3 months after that with no pay sadly. Then I need to decide whether I want/need to go back full or part time.
I don't have any ice cream, but I did indulge in a slice of chocolate fudge cake with double cream after dinner! It balances out the salad though.
