I'm not going to pretend to have such a large ego. I think it's far too soon to be able to predict an exact percentage as thingsw change so often, so largely at the moment.
So 50-70%.
So an absolutely pointless prediction then ??
So a house that was say £200k could now fall to a region of between £60K and £100k ??
Ever thought of applying for a job in Mr Clown's cabinet ?? :money:0 -

Be more interesting to see him plying his trade on the rails at Cheltenham :rotfl:'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
I'll have £200k on the nose that we don't get a 70% reduction in house prices. How does evens sound Devon ??0

Excellent I have a loaf in the freezer. That will pay my mortgage off and still have a bit left for a bag of crisps.
(Evil laugh) and the fools purchased gold.:D0 -

A shop near us is closing down and the wife just got 5 for £1, that makes the contents of the freezer worth £1m, wonder if I could have the freezer stolen and claim it back on the insurance.
Best up the contents cover first .....0 -
House 1972 £8000 affordable as first time buyer in 1972 joint income £2000 about average
House max £220,000 – 70% = £66,000 average joint income £35,000 it’s a pity they weren’t relative to that in 1972 instead of what they actually were I could have got a detach house straight away.
£140,000 looks about the same approx. 37% down0 -

It could do yes. I have NEVER said it will. I have said it's a possibility all along. Not likely to be te 60k though, more likely 80-110 on one at 200k at peak. It's already had just shy of 40k wiped off it, and of course, it depends on the area, parts of wales are taking a real bashing for instance.0 -
That's a 60% to 45% reduction.
Is this your current prediction or is it now 45% to 70%, and you've added another 5% to the spread ??
The initial part of the correction is always the easiest, as is the intial part of the gain. Once it get to 30% down it is inevitable folk will start seeing a bargain or the need to act.0
