I suppose any kind of public affray, fighting, arguing, loud music (as ruby said), partying in general, i think you can get done for singing the wrong songs at a football match too!

My hyacinths are coming, but the're not getting much sunlight, i think i need to move them....

    Bookie, we missed you yesterday!

Sally - have you done your justgiving page yet?

QB - your sis sounds pretty awesome. Good luck for tonight!

Bookie... a pallet of books and a busy shop, have they heard about Carmen Elektra. How is DD doing? You will have to put a sign in the window, that will get customers in.

Pania....you will have to tell us what you buy in your drugged up state :D

Hmmmm, someone go to the shops for me, feeling really lazy. At least my feet don't hurt as much now, which is good.

Things are ok between me and my housemate now, we've agreed to disagree and come to a compromise. Still kinda want to cook for him because it gives me something to do. But he hasn't given me any money for ingredients, so I can't. Will mention it to him tonight.

Bookie....akward deliveries like to come when the shops busy. It's the rule.

Anyone know what sort of things can be a breach of the peace?

beanie. definition of breach of the peace

"a breach of the peace occurs when an act is done or threatened to be done that harms a person, or, in his presence his property, threatens to cause such harm, or puts a person in fear of such harm being so caused."

So, number 1) you are daily getting oiks on motorbikes running over your lawna nd garden and causing damage, aside from any other offences breach of the peace has been committed
number 2) granny in her lounge has oiks shouting "we're going to get you granny" making granny scared to leave her house, offence is complete.
number3) a police officer after asking someone to leave the area a number of times after a pub fight who refuses, believes the person remaining will cause further problems can arrest for BOP.

so, basically, as long as there is someone in fear of harm to themselves, someone else or their property then it is a breach of the peace. The breach ends as soon as the person leaves the area or ceases their behaviour with no likelyhood of a reoccurance.

If you're having problems that aren't causing fear, but more making you feel harrassed then the harassment act may be more applicable. This involves a police officer giving the person harassing you a warning under the harassment act that if they continue with their course of behaviour they will be liable to arrest.

PM me if you want to chat about it in detail and i'll see what i can do to help
    Lots of hugs
