Never ever ever win

  • I agree, hang on in there, I enter 100 comps a day, I had a great year last year, but havent won anything at all for the past several weeks, cant even manage some chocolate or a galaxy book, plus ive done over 100 referrals for the wild bean comp and won nothing on that either. Comping is very much swings and roundabouts, some weeks you can end up with a prize every day and then you have slow months. Are you new to comping or have you been doing it a while?

I don't think theres many comps about at the mo to be honest, I enter hundreds each day & have had a few wins each month but not many compared to what I was winning..

Last year I was winning over 20 prizes every month, this year I have won a couple of prizes each month & I've noticed theres been less comps ending too..

Give it time & you will win eventually, best thing to do is not expect to win & just enjoy it
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:
  • I enter hundreds and hundreds too. My biggest win has been to the value of around £500 but I've had to really work hard for it. Usually I win around 0-8 comps per month but all smallish prizes.

You aren't doing anything wrong. There are just thousands and thousands of other compers. Keep trying. Good luck!
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

Kymmie, I do dozens and dozens of comps every day, hundreds per day on busy days, and I haven't won a thing since last autumn. I'm getting really cheesed off lately and wondering why I bother, but I keep trying to stay positive in the hope that the big one is just round the corner. Right now, I would settle for a few little ones!

I was feeling the same for the past week or so and have hardly done any comps since friday then today won a book on the Galaxy comp ... the wins really do come as a surprise! Hang on in there, it'll be worth it when a win comes, even a small one :p

  • I'll be 100% honest and say that sometimes I get really peed off when it seems like the same people are always winning the big prizes. I know it's petty, it's just in my nature to be jealous when somebody wins holiday after holiday followed by a 50" tv and a massive ITV cash pot! (That is aimed at nobody in particular but I'm sure that most people know what I mean)

Also, sometimes I see people winning day after day after day - but when I look at what they've won, it's often cds and dvds which I don't enter anyway.

I'm grateful for everything I've won and I enter hundreds of competitions but I understand how crappy it can make you feel just waiting.

Who knows though - maybe you'll never win a bunch of flowers or a choccy pack but you'll be the person to win the GMTV £25,000.

Good luck hun, your time will come ;)

Maybe change something in what u r doing?
It's all luck at the end of the day xxx

Ive not won quantity wise like last year but the quality has been better for me this year, me thinks credit crunch hitting comps!

I kept changing how i entered, daft things like the closing ones i've missed i always do around this time as my name will be near the end of the list itms, so the way i weirdly look at it if there are a few prizes they might pick start middle and end of list?!!?
The dailys i do at start of day around 8am, and other sites i might look at in the day, i also list and bookmark, ones that need efort to tackle late morning when im alert!

I'm sure we all have our own rituals!, Don't give up, u never know whats around the corner! xxxx

    don't give up

but also try not to see it as a chore, think of any win as a bonus - once the first win comes (and it will) you will feel better

like others have said it will be when you least expect it

    good luck

Hang in there. You'll win something. My sister won a £700 necklace from a comp way back in August but didn't find out until it arrived 2 weeks ago!

I've been feeling the same way, have won quite a few comps from mse but haven't won in a while, am finding it hard to keep going but am sure we'll both win something soon :)
