Tell her to send them back, but you will not be responsible for the cost of the return postage. Also tell her to send them Recorded, so she can't say she sent them, when she never.

I know I might get blasted for saying this, but why help the buyer by telling them this to send it recorded? If they sent it by standard post and the item gets lost, then they wouldn't get their refund from Paypal, so it's in the seller's interest for the buyer not to do this as they would have no proof they sent it back!

Some people prefer to be honest with their buyers, hard as that may be for you to believe.

I think there is a good chance that this buyer isn't trying it on.

In my business I regularly replace these waist studs as even on brand new jeans they can fall off. They will leave a hole but this will be covered by a replacement stud.

    Hope this helps.

Offer refund the amount for a replacement button and mend? Has to be cheaper than sending it back for all concerned? (Depending how much they sold for obviously)

    Common sense prevails :T

Yes, it's true, not all eBay sellers/buyers are scammers, this seems to come as a shock to most people :rotfl:

I guess she found they are too small for her too, and in her efforts to do up the button pulled it off!

I have just received the jeans back in the post and I think I agree with you that she tried them on and were a bit tight!!

Will just have to lose some weight so I get into them!!! ;)
