  • What do you think?
I'm slighty nervous that the cards seem expensive and there are loads of different prices to remember!!
Other than that I cant wait to see the stuff in the flesh as it always looks better.
Trying to earn some extra cash, just in case :undecided

Hi all, just found this forum, and looks helpful.

Been a trader for a couple of years now, and going ok. Just ordered Xmas goodies, pack 3 of course, and then realised how much old Xmas stuff still unsold.

Question, I'm going to a carboot at the weekend, you know, usual household junk clear out, and wondering should I take some Phoenix if I've got room. Has anyone done this, was it worth taking Phoenix or not?

Suggestions please, its for a charity, so I'll make a donation anyway.

Definately take it to the car boot sale.Lots of people sell unopened, unwanted new gifts at car boots so selling off last years stock isnt much different.Check the car boot organisers rules re business traders though but I think you should be okay.
It may be a really good platform to get new repeat custom from too .I expect you could get a couple of coffee and card events booked from interested car booters.Just chat to people and see where it leads you.
Let us know how you get on with it please:D.

    BTW,where's the car boot sale?

The name Scots Liz, may be a little misleading, as I'm from the Midlands!!

    Thanks for the reply.

I know what you mean. I know some people who wouldn't dream of spending £4 on 8 christmas cards and some who would. Its hard to know without seeing them isn't it? Whereabouts in the North West are you?
  • Hello, Just wondered how much luck other Traders have had with brochure drops? I've just put some packs together to make use of my last few Spring/Summer brochures seeing as I've now got the new Christmas ones. Wondering how long to leave them, have put Monday to collect on front of pack, should I drop off this Monday for a full 7 days or leave it until later in the week?

I try to leave them out for about 4 or 5 days. But make it fit in around you so that you're not making extra trips to collect them.

Good luck with them, I find that local people tend to order from this, but I've tried it in other areas where they don't know me, and have had no luck.
  • I've offloaded all my spring/summer brochures and supplements via door drops over the last few days and I've placed my order for my special offer pack today! Anyone received theirs yet?

I'm looking forward to getting cracking with the new brochure, the Christmas stuff looks gorgeous.

    Which pack did you order?
:) Thank you to all OPs :)
  • I received my SOP3 last week, ordered on Mon and got it on Fri. The products look fantastic, it's my first Christmas with Phoenix and i'm really excited about selling everything, and dishing out the new brochures so fingers crossed it goes well for everyone.
