iPhone 2G and PAYG O2 SIM...What's my best option that will allow web & e-mail?

I've just bought a 2G iPhone and I am currently using an O2 PAYG SIM. I am now wondering what my best option is which will allow me to use web browsing, e-mails etc on my iPhone.

Is there a SIM only iPhone deal from O2? can I buy a monthly web bolt on for my PAYG SIM? Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

Maybe another provider might provide better, more economical options (the phone is unlocked, so can take any SIM)

People are selling the PAYG iPhone sims on ebay for under a tenner, includes a years free web usage. Not sure if the 3g sim will work in a 2g iPhone though.

You can use a 3G iphone sim, in a 2G iphone. You can get one from O2, not sure of the cost, this will include the web and wi-fi. Or you can buy a simplicity sim from O2 and add the web bolt on!
