How many loads of washing a week?

There's 3 of us and at the moment I'm doing a load a day. Normally I just wash every other day but when the weather is like this it's harder to get dry so I wash daily and stick the clothes on the airer, it's the only way I can keep on top of it. During the summer I only have to wash every couple of days because I can get a few loads on the line outside.Dum Spiro Spero0

During the week at least one load a day. At the weekends about 3 loads a day with changing beds, washing towels etc.0

There's only me so one lights and one darks; plus bedding and other stuff when needed.
Lights are always done on a Thursday night, if it's a dress down Friday at work i'll do darks on a Thursday night as well but if it's not a dress down day i'll wear a black shirt and do darks on a Friday. That means i can have everything ironed and out of the way on a Sunday.0 -
Hmm, at the start of this year, I decided to log my washloads per month in the back of my diary, just a little running tally of how many and at what temperature.
One singleton= 7-10 washloads a month.
I work a few hours each day in an office so have work trousers and work blouses and try to wash the trews no more than twice a week and to get a second wear out of the blouses if possible. Unless the weather is very hot and sticky it is normally possible.
I dress minutes before leaving home and change down into civvies as soon as I come in, work clothes being hung up to air immediately, near an open window.
I'm mostly washing darks/ mixed coloureds with the occasional white wash for bedsheets and mattress and pillow protectors.
Leisure clothes or gardening duds get more than one use unless I get very grubby. I've also discovered this year the trick of drying off after a bath with a flannel and just using the towel to finish with, which saves it cleaner for longer.
And I'll second the idea of having ultra-small towels as an efficient way of drying and saving space in the washer. I have 2 plain navy ones which are about double the size of a standard flannel. They were a present, not something I would have sought out myself, but they are very useful.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

And I am a clean person. I have lots and lots of bars of soap (over 200) and I'm not afraid to use it.:D

There are three of us (mostly - DS1 is away at college during term time). I do about 7 loads a week. Beds are changed once a week, as are towels (apart from the cloakroom towel which gets changed more often). I workout 4 times a week, which adds to the washing!Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

I normally just use a hand towel when I come out of the shower, and believe me if I can get my mass dried with one of those, then anyone can!:D0

3 loads a week, the joys of being single
It's more during time off when I have the kids more in the week though.
