HI Orkney star - yeah its only a 'on the plane trip' for a birthday party in Ed - but its going to be nice to go and just see some people.

Glad your trip went ok - my berlingo does about the same petrol as your car does for a trip to glasgow - Darwin is far heavier on the fuel - but as work have covered the mileage I figured it was OK to take him for the fun factor :)
Oh of course, fun has got to be factored in where possible! ;););)

Can I second the appeal for your recipe please? We have a few sauce-type recipes in the Complete Cooking Collection, but no brown sauce ;)
Mmmmmm HM brown sauce (salivating now) :D

Sainsbury - Central Belt & Aberdeen - not one in Inverness or Perth :( Though there is talk of Nairn getting one.

    ....

There's one in Dundee as well!! (near Broughty Ferry)

    I go there as it's better than T's! :)

Looks very tidy and organised, well done :T.
I have bags sitting on top of freezer (one containing chocolate and sweeties, most of which we gifted to us and will take a while to eat!), and one containing all of DS's dried fruits, special biccies etc. Also have a bathroom full of showergel and shampoo and a kitchen porch full of cleaning stuff (incl the stardrops ;) and all the washing liquid I had stockpiled when on offer, plus one from Morrys). We had lots of rice and pasta already so did not bring anything back this time, and plenty of tins too. Am I seeing porridge there ? I should have got more of that, although Tesco do sell it here and the Coop, for a reasonable price.

Yes true about the oats. We don't tend to make twinks much these days (could never get them quite right, oddly as I can normally bake!) but I use oats to make DS porridge.
Lets hope your DS does not find the crisps (my OH is good at finding biccies hidden at back of cupboard lol).

Your shopping piled on the shelves looks fantastic.

A Citroen Berlingo is a must for taking home the shopping from the mainland - it's what we've got too....!!!

My cupboards (including under the stairs!) are pretty full just now and we've set ourselves of eating out of the freezer for the next few months so that we can start to top it up again for the winter months....

I find that forgetting to put in the water makes them work everytime - I forgot it the first time and they worked :)

Used water the second time and they weren't very good.

Boychild here has a nose like a ferret - so the crisps will be found its only a matter of time tbh.

Hi Nessie - yeah the berlingo would have held the same about of shopping as the vw - It's the best car I have ever owned. Keep thinking I don't need two BUT - 7 years old its hardly worth anything resale - and I love it to bits :)
