Line rental only from BT

BT Light User scheme disallows mobiles and computers, tho I have an online account with BT and they havn't twigged it, or are not enforcing the small print. My last bill showed an annual spend of £86 with about one call per day.0

I think your find that is changing now,and that suppliers will accept other suppliers line rental,as they are only renting them from BT wholesale anyway.PF.0 -
so is there anyway of reducing the deadcost of having bt option 1 just so I can internet access? I mean the only reason I signed up in August last year was because I can't get cable in my area. Having to pay £33 a quarter just so I can have a line to get BB on is kinda annoying >,<0

nope, you must have a line to get broadband, even if you make NO calls. unfair, hey?
also, bear in mind that when you order a line from BT, they WILL try and sell you stuff (i used to work for them, scummy company).
The sales advisor still has targets to reach even on free stuff like 1571, so don't always take their word. The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.

Thats what i'm trying to get at. Call centers have there targets, i'm only paying line rental only, not BT option 1, so it does exist. I just think they are very reluctant to let you have it??0
