Wedding Insurance

Can anyone recommend any companies selling wedding insurance? I presume this is quite a specialist field and I've no idea what then going rates should be. I'm looking for cover up to around £7500.
Hopefully none of you have ever had to use it!

  • Try good old M&S - it even includes stress counselling for the bride, groom, their parents or guardians!

  • Hi!
I'm asking the same question, on the face of it the wedding insurance provided by e & l insurance looks the best bet, see https://www.eandl.org.uk/YouAndYourWedding with cover starting from £49 and events insurance services at https://www.events-insurance.co.uk looking (to me) to be more competetive than Marks and Sparks.

    Hi stockportgerbil
There has been some mention by posters, that E and L are difficult to claim from, I haven't beenable to fault them for my camera insurance, but then I haven't had to claim

Look under Insurance in Provider A-Z in the sidebar on this forum and 3 companies are listed but as suggested already avoid E & L.

Two other companies are ecclesiastical insurance and methodist insurance who are both long established and highly reputable.
