My best tip for getting a free upgrade is to travel alone. I do recognise that this little gem of advice is not ideal for a honeymoon :rotfl:0

I'm the OP - and no I didn't get an upgrade! I did cheekily ask, but they looked at me like they had probably looked at 10's of customers every day. I didn't push my luck any further...
Turns out that the standard seat on Thai Air is more than adequate anyway...0 -
