    i know some of them have the hip tied in and they have to pay for it after so many months, how many months is it?

    do you think if the time limit has came for them to pay for the hip and they have just said leave it for sale

    There may be another reason. I have done the HIPs on 2 new flats recently and a problem arose with the boundaries. So far it has taken 8 months for the land Registry to sort this out. In the mean time the flats have remained on the market but the owner has not permitted any viewings.

    cheers everyone for the answers, i think it probably has got soemthing to do with the hip.

    Oh well we may have to broaden our search.

    Actually, when I was last looking (pre-HIP) I had a similar situation :confused::confused:

    We would have bought the house! Instead we bought another. Not sure what was going on....

    I could understand that, he thinks everyone questioning him is an EA, FTB or an alternate account on the forum. :rotfl:

    I guess he's harmless really, just has a really appropriate nickname. :D
