Their is no guarantee that they will. But you could try and negotiate a deal with them as an earlier poster(post 18) did.PF.0 -
one tel (talk talk ) just rang them up and Ive been offered 99p a month for Weekend & Evening calls for life, plus free calls anytime to any one-tel or talk talk customer (think this is standard ) no fixed terms I can cancel anytime
Happy with this as Im about to come off the - they credit me with £3.99 a month offer posted by Martin last year.
The most my monthly bill has ever been has been £4.00 approx a month over the last year so I really wouldnt benefit by paying £3.49 a month as most calls I make are in evenings/weekends, and I use 1899 for other calls.
When I rang I asked if they could make me a better offer like the primus 3 option. They didnt bat an eyelid and where happy to give me options. Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T0 -
triticat wrote:If you are presently with TalkTalk and are thinking of leaving them (their phone service is good but the broadband is crap for anything but email and browsing), phone them to cancel the phone service and they will happily price match the above Primus option 3 and beat it substantially. I did this and am happily still with them, but I took the sales person's name and time of the agreement just in case they renage.
Ok but what price is the primus deal?!, do i mention the £5 rebate via uswitch?, sorry for being abit thick!, but will they pricematch the £3.49 deal?!No one said it was gonna be easy!0 -

Personally, i'd swap unless there is a reason you want to stay on TT (the free TT to TT wouldn't matter anyhow being on an all-inclusive plan).0 -
i'm finding out for my folks, they are on the 6 months free calls then they will transfer to the £7.99 deal, maybe by then there will be new offers on the market, but thanks for all your helpNo one said it was gonna be easy!0

Puja wrote:The Primus Freetalk Plus 2 priceplan is advertised at 2.99 per month for free evening and weekend calls through uswitch.com. Although this offer (free evening/weekend calls) is available free through the Primus website, uswitch are offering a cashback of £5 per month for 12 months:
Monthly charges
Primus Freetalk Plus 2 £2.99
Line rental (Paid to BT) £11.00
Plan benefits
Sign up in February and receive a £5 monthly loyalty bonus, paid quarterly in £15 installments, for the first 12 months
Calls to other Primus Freetalk customers are free at all times
Free evening & weekend calls to landlines for £2.99 a month
Primus Freetalk loyalty bonus available to new customers only
See 'Special offer policy' tab for more information on uSwitch's offer inclusion criteria.
Am I understanding this right? It seems too good to be true!
*******
I just spoke to someone at Primus and apparently the above is the case, the difference between the 2 evening/weekend free call packages (one is free other is 2.99 per month) is that one is paperless billing and the other is paper based. If you sign up to the 2.99 per month Primus deal through uswitch you will be entitled to a cashback of £5 per month, include the £8 cashback through Quidco and effectively you will be paid £32.12 over the year for free evening and weekend calls!
Uswitch are doing this £5/month offer during April as well.
Do you know if the £2.99/month tariff or the free one is paper based billing and which is paperless billing only?
Regards

Could MSE Martin or his staff possibly find out as it could be used in his weekly email again?0
