Is JSA taxaable?

Hi i am getting £60.50 contribution based JSA and am thinking of getting a 10 hour a week job @ £7.50 an hour, have been told that this will not affect my benefit. But what about tax? Will not start job until after start of new tax year. Thanks

You are allowed to work for less than 16 hrs a week while on JSA, but you must tell the Job Centre how many hours you are working and how much, if anything you are being paid.Your JSA will be reduced by the same amount as your income from that job.
