Have you tried it? It looks good, but I'm not sure about the coconut milk...I'm not a great fan of that side of the curry business...i.e. the mild, coconutty, creamy & sweet type things. I like a nice Jalfrezi or Korai, but something with a bit of bite.
And I hope you've got a note to explain why you, of all people, were so late for this thread? If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Please don't buy a book - we are all really looking forward to the next 'lesson'!!! :j :j :j0 -

Oooooooo a man after my own taste!
I must admit I don't like kormas and "sweet" curries either, and the only time I ever really use coconut milk is in Jamaican rice & peas, or coconut rice pudding and stuff. If you look at that recipe closely it says you can substitute the milk with stock anyway
And no, I haven't tried the recipe on that site, but I posted it as it has good simple instructions for you to follow
I echo whoever it was that mentioned adding spinach, just throw a couple of large handfuls in when it's finished cooking and it will wilt down within minutes. You can add more or less any veg to it - potato, aubergine, cauli, courgette etc, and I often make these curries to use up any old left-over veggiesmrbadexample wrote:And I hope you've got a note to explain why you, of all people, were so late for this thread?
Ermmmmmm what can I say  ... I've been rather pre-occupied and tied up this week "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
