Hi Everyone
Congratulations Jo R :j :j :j
Bathgatebuyer - I know what you mean about having lunch with your colleagues. Since I've been bringing in packed lunches I have found it harder but I make sure I join them at least once a week.
RachelMK - I'd put the money towards the loan straight away - too much temptation to spend it and you're not likely to earn much interest on the money. By paying off a bit extra on your loan you'll be paying a bit less interest.
So here's my list:- spend an hour on job application
- call the potential job person for some information about it (if I can get free for a few minutes this afternoon).
- check job paper and emails for potential jobs. DONE
- washing DONE
- hang on airers DONE
- breakfast at home and packed lunch to work DONE
- carry on reading article for studies
- type up notes and email to lecturer
- Vacuum hall and stairs - didn't do it yesterday
- ask neighbour for money
- storecupboard dinner DONE
- call friend using free mobile minutes DONE
- put away ironed clothes
- NI form to complete and send.
- Pack up books for charity shop - they won't make me any money on Amazon
- Identify 5 books to go on Amazon

@ Jo_R - Congratulations! Do you know what you're calling him yet?
Today I have:
Done daily scratch - 10p
Gone back to Sainsbury's and bought pasta sauce that they were out of yesterday, still on giftcard.
I will (hopefully
):
Have unofficial NSD (unofficial as there's no room left in my siggy to do them
)
E-mail guy off Freecycle and ask if he still wants carrier bags off me as the carrier bag holder is now full.
Make sandwich to take to uni this evening for while I'm waiting for the bus tonight (should keep me away from the vending machine monster that eats all my money
)
Drop in Student Finance and see if they still do hardship grants.
Get all my housemates together and tell them that the DSA won't give me the phone or internet free any more so they'll have to pay for it now (that'll be awkward, wish me luck).
And I think that's everything. And if it all gets done today, that'll be a miracle.

:TCONGRATULATIONS JO R:T
Glad to hear he finally arrived and all is well!!!
Bit late today and have been busy these last few days so haven't been posting. Today I have done/will do:
- check internet banking
- scratchcards (won £5 for the first time ever yesterday :T)
- check topcashback and greasypalm
- check onepoll
- checked email for surveys but none today
- used luncheon vouchers to buy breakfast in wetherspoons
- do ironing that should have been done on Sunday
- clean shower that should have been cleaned on Sunday
- entered holiday comps
- did dooyoo review (got a crown about 10 minutes later, yay!)
- rate dooyoo reviews
- have a LSD. Need a few odds and ends but will stick to list
- storecupboard dinner
- found out today I won't be getting a pay cut but will infact be getting a pay RISE:j of nearly £2K a year. Feel bad for a lot of my colleagues though as hundreds of them have had pay cuts. I'm unbelieveably thankful I wasn't one of them and am still stunned at how lucky I've been
Thats it for today, have a good one xx0 -
Piq, sorry things are tough for you at the moment. When it comes to your mental and physical health i don't think you really have to be concerned with how much things cost, as your health is more important than money. Hope you feel better within yourself soon.
Jo_r, well done on the baby, he's a nice healthy weight! Thats our second little dfw things baby!!
Lily, i agree with others, get in touch with LEA, if he is entitled to a free meal he should be receiving one and the school should make provisions themselves for his exclusion. It's ridiculous expecting you to do something with him over lunch time then take him back, shame on that school.
Today is shaping up to be a fantastic day!! I found out the tax man had over charged me so i will be getting a nice lump sum back. Also we are going to get back dated pay for the extra time we now do each session so thats an extra 30mins each day. Then i was told i have a budget for all my special needs stuff, so i can now start buying all the lovely resources i have desperataly been wanting and start putting them into action. So am really feeling on cloud nine today!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hi everyone, stayed up late last night working on essay and only been up little while, i decided to go butchers and do the meat shopping for mum. I spent about £35. But its my good deed and yummy food. Also spent about a tenna in tesco’s on a box to organise bits and new nandos range! This stuff will last ages. Sprinkles and marinades. Good few months it will last me.

Just been called by work, they have given me a night turn overtime shift in june. Great news goes towards those course fees! See that was good karma from doing the shopping!
Jor – congrats! What did you call the baby?!!! How lovely! Primark are doing some cuttie baby clothes check it out!
Piq – i agree, be okay, take things slowly and treat yourself within reason, even if its a one pound magazine to cheer yourself up using change, it will all help
Sophiesmum..glad the decoraters have finished for you!
