Freecycle v good for hamsters and cages.
We got one cage from ebay as well - prior to my knowing about freecycle.
IMHO - guinea piggies nicer than hamsters (for kids) - but dont tell HP.
Did you forget ironing was illegal???
Door - hmm I could have kicked myself - typical me - more haste less speed.
Doh! I always forget about freecycle!! Will have a mooch later and see whats about.
Hamsters are for stepkids...they wanted Giant african land Snails so hamsters are a compromise!:rolleyes:

My DS has been excluded from lunchtime at school :mad: so instead of the free school meals I will have to pick him up, take him home feed him, and take him back, all by car coz of my hip problem

Lilly X
Lily, that's not on. If he's entitled to a free school meal he should have it. I think you've said before that he's quite young too so I'm surprised that he is excluded at lunchtime. If the school won't budge then contact your Local Authority and speak to either an equalities officer ( he's not being treated appropriately cos of missing free school meal) or behaviour support to see if they recommend excluding at this age. If you need someone to help sort it out get in touch with SNAP (special needs and parents) for your area - or if you are feeling bolshy contact the Lead on Children's Services in your council or better still ask your local councillor to help - usually gets things moving pdq!

I've been ever so good and remembered to bring a packed lunch in! That's the second day in a row for me - can you tell it's the last week before pay day?! We get a subsidised canteen and I'm trying to bring in more of my own meals but not lose out on going for lunch with my colleagues;
Will check Pigsback for some of the last 30 points I need to get a reward voucher - which will probably be my last on Pigsback as they're few an far between these days;
Will try and stretch my last £7 until Friday morning (payday), so really only got to get to Thursday evening
Should be able to manage it although the moggy is on her last tine of food today, so will have to buy some bits and pieces for her this evening. Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
