Coooeeeeee.....I just did a very brisk 25 minute walk. Feel all tingly and very out of breath.

    Did I do good?

Snaggs, look after yourself for a while. Let yourself recover, then get back in the saddle ;)

Lou, well done on the new boiler. i hope it was insured in the end.

Bookie, well done on the lovely hot shower. Shame it's still dripping.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

    Lol Bunny, don't shut up!

Part of me does think I should just not see anyone for a while, but part of me thinks, no sod it, I've been in a relationship all of my adult life, I want to enjoy being single and just dating casually.

I'm actually quite happy on my own with the kids (although yes, it's very hard). Underneath the slight relationship shedheadedness, I'm feeling fairly mentally stable (lol...for me anyway ) and I think sort of happy.

Just need to try to worry less and not second guess what's going to happen all the time.

Snaggles, re the bloke thing... i think if you meet someone thru a mutual friend then that's worth exploring but Bunny might have a point about not actively looking for someone to fill the gap... you are a strong, funny, beautiful, fantastic mum, independent woman of means..... and you don't need the validation of a bloke in your life to be complete...

however it is nice to feel desirable and attractive etc etc, which i understand.

Re the spark thing, i think your previous encounter was so full of tension, emotion, sexual tension etc that the spark was caused by the long build up and carried on from there..... very few relationships really have that spark at first...

For what it's worth this new guy sounds nice, and as Zed says, be straight with him without being dismissive and give it a couple of weeks.... you might be surprised!

But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
