come on spill...whats the latest!
Well I met a really nice guy yesterday for coffee. He's a good friend of a good friend, but we've never met before.
It went really well, he's funny, intelligent, kind of cute.
We were talking online last night, and he was asking me what I wanted, so I said I didn't want to rush into something serious. He asked if I meant I wanted to see other people, and I said no (although I'm not even 100% sure about that), I just didn't want to rush straight into a serious relationship.
He said he was maybe looking for something a bit more serious, a boyfriend/girlfriend kind of thing.
I just feel like it's very early days, both since I met him AND since things ended with Dave, and I'm not sure I can give him that.
I like him, but I'm not feeling the spark - and I don't know if it's fair to lead him on 'just in case' I start to feel more for him, knowing he DOES want more (because the lack of spark could just be fear of getting hurt again).
Gahhhh......it's so complicated."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I didn't go running cos Chloe got up at 5.11am....so couldn't leave her on her own....unless i got one of the other two up...that would have made me popular - not!
And i forgot to txt Lenny so I hope you did Sally..
Today I have to go to my job, and then see CD woman and come to a decision wether to carry on for a bit or not. Then fit a run in and try to do some paperwor accounts stuff..

Hun all relationships have to start somewhere, yes there are some relationships that have that instant spark and you know you want to make a go of it, but the majority of them you have to get to know the person and see how things pan out. Do you fancy him?? If the answer is no then walk away now, if yes then I think its worth persuing even if in a couple of weeks time you think this isn't working. You need to have fun, go out with him and see how things pan out...you might find that although he has said he is looking for a girlfriend, something serious that actually he might find it's not working for him, works both ways remember....thats the joys of dating im afraidI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I swear men just like a challenge, and if I woke up tomorrow and realised I was madly in love with him, he would dump me within a week.
It did feel like it was a bit of a heavy question to ask after one date, but I suppose it's good that he wants to be upfront about things. He didn't say it in a creepy way, and he wasn't putting pressure on me, so I guess I'll just have to see how things go, and if he wants more than I can give him, then it's not meant to be."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Sal - I think I do fancy him - I rarely feel instant attraction (with Dave it was an instant, head over heels, omg I want to be with you forever kind of thing, but that's because we had spent probably hundreds of hours chatting online before we met, and I already loved his personality...hahaha....that sounds funny NOW....), so fancying him 'a bit' is quite a good sign for me I think."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
