Proper mobile-viewable websites - list, anyone?
It's surprising how hard is is to finally arrive via Google or otherwise at a decent (UK) mobile-manageable website.
Examples:
1. BBC - keeps on advising you to text them for a link (till you finally find the well hidden link to the real mobile site).
2. UK Rail Enquiries. Really does not seem to have a proper mobile enabled site. Is this actually possible in 2009? There's an unofficial site - http://m.traintimes.org.uk/ but is this all?
To the main question: is there a good all-in-one list of the most useful UK mobile sites out there (for the sort of things you like to have when away from home and the big computer), to save pecking at the tiny keypad to hunt for them? Or can we start an 'add your suggestion' thread right here?

Some sites change automatically on detection of some mobile browsers
It's very easy to zoom and scroll in some browsers, especially Opera Mini0 -

@redux - downloaded the trial Opera - it went somewhere into the phone as a file, but no install process started (s60/Nokia) so I am still puzzling over the install - other apps went in and installed 1st time beautifully, in contrast.
@dduk thanks for that - I really wonder that Google which correctly detects you are on a mobile and gives you a special page - does NOT put mobile sites like you suggested as top search results!0
