Rip off Merchants.
The very same not so cheap phone call company that charge you approx £21 a year membership on top of your line rental . For what?0 -
Are you sure your not telling Porkies?

On a more serious note £29.99 for a low cost router is a rip off.0 -
Just thought I would let you know that my dear husband had in fact hidden the pig a long time ago as he knew that we would be charged when we cancelled the subscription and thought that I might throw it out!! So, after I had turned the house upside down looking for it, he produced from a secret hiding place and the panic was over! Now I only have to fork out to send it recorded delivery, although they did say that if I requested it, they would reimburse for that.0

Too right... the excellent Orchid dialler costs only £11, and that (a) is sold by a company on its own at a profit, ie, they don't make anything at all from call revenue; and (b) can be set up to route calls however the user wants, not just via a single operator.£29.99 for a low cost router is a rip off.
I remember being asked by OneTel years ago to return their router when I'd stopped using it - I never bothered, and they didn't ask again.0
