Nokia 1100
Good Morning MSEs
I'm looking to purchase a T-Mobile PAYG Nokia 1100 but want to use a Virgin SIM instead. As Virgin uses the T-Mobile network do you think I'll still need to get the phone unlocked? Anyone had any similar experiences? Also, anyone know any cheap Nokia 1100 deals?
Many thanks
Have a niceday

Hi
You should have a prob with using the Virgin sim in the tmob phone, ive done it a good few times and they work fine.
JaffaR.I.P Sam, still in my heart0 -
You'll have no bother if its locked, it'll work fine.
CPW are doing that phone free if you buy £50 worth of credit on their fresh network, if you were willing to use a differnet number while you used that up.0 -

These are not locked and I just took T Mobile out and put O2 in.0 -
Why not just find the cheapest place that sells a virgin nokia 1100 and just put your existing sim in and use it.
Play are doing the Virgin - Nokia 1100 for £24.99 but it's currently out of stock.

I don't think any Nokia 1100's are locked to networks - to costly to do for such a cheap phone.
Even still - if you buy it from an independent retailer (such as cpw) you will get an unlocked handset no matter what network you purchase it on.Treat others as you would like to be treated :A0 -
Although it may no longer work - you may want to try to get this through the Virgin Lifestyle link. It was being sold for £26.99 incl £25 of free calls. And you could get it even cheaper if you got your RPoints/Quidco points as well. This was on this site about 6 months ago if I remember. PS I use this basic phone nowadays as my daily phone and love it!0

If you find the thieving scroat who took HWTHMBO's phone from Center parcs Whinfell Forest you could have that!
seriously - i got one from Amazon for less than £20. IIRC £17.46 and my orange SIM went straight in without unlocking.just in case you need to know:
HWTHMBO - He Who Thinks He Must Be Obeyed (gained a promotion, we got Civil Partnered Thank you Steinfeld and Keidan)
DS#1 - my twenty-five-year old son
DS#2 - my twenty -one son0 -
The Amazon ones are easily the best deal and when i got mine it was unlocked also.0
