£13.50 on p+p of ebay stuff ... had a good weekend of sales.
55p on Choccy at the PO.
Hopefully, going out to a club tomorrow so that will be a bigish spend.0 -

Any help would be fab
Hi tinkerbelluk, I'm quite new at this too
I think most posts include what you pay during a day yourself - cash, cheques and card payments but not the standing orders or direct debits that are humming off in the background. It's good for getting some recall of the blank spaces between the cashpoint and the empty wallet!
Ms_London - could you send the latest passport photos with an SAE and a letter saying you require the others back and have provided a means of postage for them.
Scottish_Spendaholic, I'm very intrigued by your mention of a free mother and baby thing, if I can't find the thread you may be getting a PM
Okay, 'fessing time. My spend today was:
£5 for haircut, plus £2 tip. (It was supposed to be £8 and I had been wondering about taking the hard line and being someone who doesn't tip today - but was pleased that it ended up less and very nice.)
£8.40 in Sainsburys. I was only supposed to buy milk but reduced roast chicken and pies will save me money in the next few days, plus I got a £4.99 bouquet for £1.49 (great timing after spotting a lad with stickers heading to the flowers) and that's the valentine that I forbade OH to buy while the price of flowers was inflated last week
£8.02 in Starbucks - um, did a JK Rowling and sat there for nearly three hours, though in my case I was too lazy to write a million-seller.
I also spent 1hr20mins wandering round Boots (a small one!) and came out without a single point spent - let alone real cash. <shakes> (<- with pride!)
Bit annoyed though that I'm probably going to struggle to have the two no-spend days I've pledged this week because tomorrow is the only day I can go see OH's Aunt in hospital and I've realised petrol will have to be got.Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -
I've spent nothing today as I've not been out ds and dd are on school holiday and I'm trying to make evry other day a spend free day, as days out cost so much.GC: £400/ £00

I have actually written a letter of complaint, and asked them to either return the 2 photos or send me a cheque for £1.75!! Damn, probably should have included a SAE - didnt think of that!!
It just irritates me that they wrote to me to tell me my photos werent suitable, so could have included the "unsuitable" ones with that letter!!??!!!
Not having a happy day as you can tell :0)0 -
skintchick wrote:Tesco later and have run out of everything! Need coffee, washing powder, butter, eggs, milk, everything! But have £15 in vouchers so hopefully that will cover it
Do you mean £15 in coupons? Or actual gift vouchers? We dont have a Tesco near us, just Sainsbury's who never seem to reduce anything, or if they do, its 1p off!!! Grrrrrrr!!!

It's been a really bad day for me, tuition fees were due, so that's £580 I'd conveniently forgotten about, as well as £3.50 for dinner tonight as I have a friend coming over and thought I wouldn't subject him to using up the contents of my cupboards like I've been doing for the last couple of weeks. And another £7 on new exercise DVDs as I'm bored of all mine but need to tone up before ball in april. Oh and another £2 on parking as I had to go straight to uni from my boyfriends house. I think that's everything! On the plus side I didn't spend anything all weekend...£2 Coin Savers Club £14 :j (joined 18/2/06)0

Sorry to hijack this thread peeps but.......
....ms_london, my barber has just got back form 9 months travelling! He spent most of it in Oz! Said it was absolutely brilliant! He did say if he was to do it again he would get a 12 month working visa! I'm sure thats what you said you were gonna do!
Don't know what my barber and you have got in common but thought you might like to know for some odd reason! :rotfl:
Think what I'm trying to say is he loved it and I'm sure you will too!
Could have saved alot of typing if I said that in the first place!

You can post whatever you want (within reason;) ) it's a chatty kind of thread where people post their spending or lack of spending...
Today I only treated myself to a skinny latté which cost £1.70 but I drank it in the café and got a free read of the papers and a warm up...;)0
