Internetcalls.com have changed, WITHOUT TELLING CUSTOMERS, their charges. I'm a brit in Austria with an office in Sheffield. I used to get charged 3 cents of a euro connection fee but now it's gone up to 5 cents- about 3.5p.
They're crafty, these co's because you can only make "free" calls for up to 300 mins (5 hours) every 7 days. They don't make it easy for you to check how many hours you've used. I tried to download my recent calls list into excell so I could add it up but it wouldn't let me!
They have reduced call charges to uk mobiles from 20.88 cents to 16.70 cents, Freeephone calls are free, 0845 calls reduced from 4.64 cents to 3.71 cents & national calls go down from 11.6 cents to 9.28 cents. I don't know (can anyone tell me) but calls to UK "personal" lines did cost 20.88 cents & now they're 16.7 cents.
It would be useful if these companies had the facility to check the cost of a call before you made it- maybe they do but I've not found out how. Anyone enlighten me?
I've made several calls via internetcalls.com using a skype type phone but I always get cut off. Usually these calls ate TOTALLY FREE but what the use if you get disconnected! Maybe a ploy to get you to pay the connection fee via the normal telephone.
