Just to let you know, they have now changed there T&C's ... and unsurprisingly... STILL NO SPAM!

The reason why I am getting "worked up" about this is because I am a business owner myself and I have empathy for the people behind Ultimate Competitions!

I would hate it if somebody on a power trip, like your self, decided to make up lies and post them online in front of thousands of people...
the quote you use from the comping rules is that the spammy site list is the product of the collective wisdom on MSE, not just VG and myself

So why don't you keep it that way
... By adding Ultimate Competitions to that list you are stateing that, you and VG are the collective wisdom of MSE! (Which your not! Collectively your not even 1% of the wisdom on here!)

This company seems to be offering a very good service, has no intention of spamming and has answered every question I put to them fully!

I, as part of MSE, don't think they should be on that list! And unless you can give me some proof that they should be... why should anyone trust what you and VG post on here?

Just because they have been around for a long time doesn't make it right for them to abuse the trust that people rely on when reading their posts!!

Putting aside the fact that this worldwide operating company changed their T&Cs because of a single email, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and register with a throwaway email address. Guess what? Yep, spam has arrived in it.

A little further internet searching on this company (http://www.freeindex.co.uk/profile(ultimate-competitions-ltd)_137199.htm)
reveals their spam based set up:-

Ultimate Competitions Ltd - Internet Marketing
This company aims to supply their clients with tailored marketing packages, allowing them to generate positive PR, elevating their clients' brand image, while marketing the product or service.

And their own website (http://www.ultimate-competitions.biz/index.html) shows that their competitions are designed to make money:-

Our reverse auctions work by inviting consumers to interact repeatedly with each auction by trying to place the lowest unique bid to win the prize.

Rachel, can you tell me how far away you live from SK17 6SU?

    ouch.... that's gotta hurt

Evening all... just back from holiday and catching up on myincreasing obsession that is Money Saving Expert.

As a "connoisseur" (I'd like to think) of online lowest unique bid auction sites I would like to let you know that I have registered with the site in question (under a different name) and in my opinion I would give it a wide berth, compared to other sites out there.
