Lil_me I can see me having these new towels for years and years, I love them.

It's a lovely day today very spring-like, I only wish I had some washing I could hang out to make use of the nice weather. Got work 9-2.30ish today so will fly when I get back in, will do some dailies this morning before I go. Littley has non-uniform day today at school for Red Nose Day, it'll take her ages to decide what to wear lol.

Wobbly Wednesday - Living room, hall, stairs and porch!

Vacuum/sweep all the floors.. stairs too!
Vacuum/sweep under furniture you can safely move!
Vacuum sofas
Level Three
Wash the windows
Wipe down ALL the paintwork! *groans*

Tremendous Thursday - Master bedroom and Landing
Level One
Strip and wash bedding!
Level Two
Clear landing floor.. or sort a hotspot out there!!
Wash windows
Vacuum floors
Level Three
Sort out shoes and coats and bags! etc

Declutter the dog shelf Dog shelf?? what's that then?

Strip and wash the bedding

Drag all the junk from under the bed and place it all where it is meant to be!

Deweb, dust and destickify the room!

Any social workers on the thread??? (Im just chancing my arm) I Have 3 blooming Questions to answer Re the Honours course!! Apparently It will assess my suitability for social work!! (Grrrr I thought the personal statement sorted that one out!!)

Anyhow, DS1 is away, DS2 is staying off today, DS3 and DD are getting dressed as I type!!

Another early start - still the downstairs loo is proceeding apace and fingers crossed, i'll get a lie in tomorrow :j- I don't know how those with littlies get up each morning - shiftwork I do no probs, 7am starts :mad:! Perhaps thats why I'm so grumpy, just sleep deprived.

Wrote a draft of my presentation yesterday - need to refine it today, and check against the list of necessary points.

On a happier note, its my FIL's 80th birthday today so I'm taking him and MIL out for lunch - DH will see them tonight, while I'm at the X factor concert (Mom and Sis' Xmas pressie).

Today's list:-
Check presentation and practise
Write FIL card and wrap pressie
Don't forget cake!
Key to builder
Tidy study - its a pit
S+S kitchen
Vac round after builder goes
Clean loo
Be ready for 5.30
Ring Joanie
Ring docs - appointment for smear and pill

Day off!!! This week has been manic. The only cloud on the horizon is another dental appointment this afternoon...

Okay, have printed off the lists, leaving off all the extras for the time being, and plan to get stuck in and do it all by 2pm. Unless I get bored and wander off into the garden because the sun is shining.;)

Warning to all newbies - do not attempt this - I can only do it because I've been flying for a couple of years now!! (And the kids are all home, and so there will be a fair amount of enforced teen labour as well:D)

Huge hugs for mumoffour and your DS - totally agree with everything that has been said.

I've not been sleeping too well and feel like rubbish, SS is based in Ireland where the trouble is at the moment and I keep having nightmares,I'm worried sick, so playing catch up again.

Morning all

Two loads of washing today, the first one is out on the line and the second one is nearly finished. It's a bit dull out there and was drizzling earlier, I hope it dries.

When DH goes to work in 10 minutes I plan to dust the living room and computer desk and vacuum through downstairs. And then watch ER

Morning all,

Red nose bake all done and ready to take to school for 3, Viewing cancelled yesterday, at the eleventh hour, had got myself so het up over it. Then thought Oh well relaxing weekend but agent called yesterday afternoon and now have a viewing on Sunday :mad: DD and DS2 at school. DS1 came home from college yesterday with S&D but has caught the bus in to college today after taking some immodium... poor thing:o Don`t think he`ll last the day as he`s feeling sick. Don`t know why he went in. Probs cos I am such a dragon and banned him from comp games. Bed if your ill!!

Top floor done Off to do the rest... Love, hugs and positive vibes to all that need them. Haven`t managed to catch up with thread yet.
