I just love that sort of buyer...

I had one last week, I sold a lot of books and had quoted for second class post to keep costs down and someone paid but in the note they said 'please send this 1st class urgently'. I emailed back and said they could pay an extra 30p to upgrade to 1st class but they just sent back a brief note saying thanks but no thanks.

In the end I checked their feedback and guess what, they sold books and had two recent negs for poor packing. On one of the negs they responded by saying you only get what you pay for so don't whinge.

In the end I was a coward and sent it first class, but I'm not leaving feedback until they do..

  • My best freebie on eBay?...a sauna which was left when I bought my house 3 years ago. The seller didn't want it ( and it was brand new and boxed!! )....and told me to keep/build/sling it since he was moving abroad and had no need for it. He also left us a wood burning stove in the garage after he converted to gas central heating

I sold the sauna for £680 and the stove went for £410 .......... :-)

I need to move house more often....lol!

Must be the day for it! Just had someone asking for a discount on a 99p item, as they have seen the item I'm selling cheaper from another seller.

Firstly, whats the point of asking for discount on something that costs 99p, and secondly, unfortunately for him, I know full well that no one else sells this particular item! :rotfl:

I get so cross when buyers try to dictate terms. I'd just email him back and suggests he buys it from the other seller then!
