Is Dropshipping a good way to make money?

Hi MSE users!

This is my first thread / post on here.

I have stumbled accross a dropshipping website.
I made a sample order from them and got them to ship one of their Spy Pens to me, and all went ok...

But wanted to know whether dropshipping is a good way to make money? I don't expect to become a millionaire overnight but if i sell 10 items a day making £3-4 on each one i would be very happy. I could really do with the extra £200 a week...

Its a good way of making money if you can, but if you are a genuine poster then you have just given your supplier details away and have thus ruined your business!
If you are, as I suspect, someone promoting a website for dropshippers you are not going to gain many customers doing it that way.

My one tip would be NOT to use any site openly posted on one of the largest forums in the UK.

I am a genunie poster therefore have removed the website i found. I just found them on the wholesale forums.

All i wanted to know was whether you were allowed to do this on ebay and wouldnt have any problems.

drop shipping is where you pass the orders to you supplier , who supplies and delivers the goods

downside, you get the bad feedback if they mess up etc

It is generally a good idea of marketing online with out any hassle, however, generically over the web, not many people choose this option because there are too many scandals over the web and it just doesn't cut it, but there is one particular brand that is legitimate and do support this as well as give the best suppliers is world wide brands. Although their fee to join is $300, there has been positive praises about their services all over the web.

Why would anyone want to do that?

To make money you either have to spend money or invest time or knowledge.

I had a quick look at that dropshipping website, and all I can say is what a load of c**p they're selling. Lot's of cheap imitation 'ipods' etc. Looks like a haven for people who want to scam others by pretending to sell the genuine articles when in fact they're a poor imitation.
