One of the most important parts of running a succesful online business is tight control of the customer touch points - product quality, despatch time, good packaging, after-sales service etc.
By dropshipping, you are handing all of this, and therefore your eBay trading ability, to a pretty much unknown 3rd party. You will also be competing with all of their other customers, so price wars are not possible, and you will find it very hard to compete on service, since the only service you will provide is the listing description.
That's not to say it's impossible, it is just something I would find very hard to make work on the eBay platform, but maybe on your own website.
Have a look at https://www.dropshipforum.co.uk for loads of advice on doing this, although you do need about 25 posts and an invite to see the good stuff.
