hi is there an unlocking code for a motorola v220 currentlyon virgin

I understand that Motorolas cannot be unlocked remotely as you need a cable/clip and the software to do it - you need to take them to a mobile shop (try your local market - probably cost you £5/10).

Yes, if it's a Virgin Mobile, they will unlock it for free, providing that you have topped up at least £30 since you got the SIM.

At no additional charge, we will provide the code to 'unlock' your mobile phone, as long as you do not owe anything for that phone, you have spent at least £30 on airtime with us on that phone and you have complied with terms of this agreement. I was going to reply with the same message yesterday regarding spending £30 of airtime with them, but upon reading Anon's post made me decide not to as a clip/cable maybe need to be used to unlock the phone.

they can be done by code as virgin will have the correct code for the phones they have sold (or will have access to the moto database) - so only virgin can give it to you
