I don't know rog2, it's amazing what we can all do with a bit of determination, a lot of support and a desire to do better ;)

I am just an ordinary person, if I can do it, I am sure you/anyone can.

Moozie - I honestly tried, but I think I left my LBM until it was too late - I just couldn't fight my creditors, especially HMRC, fast enough
Mind you - I think it would have been a different story if I'd found this site a year earlier - you are proof that it works. :T :T
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Thank you my friend. To be honest rog, I think LBMs happen when we are ready for them. I did my last consolidation in August 05, if I recall correctly, and I am sure at the time I looked at National Debtline's website but instead of taking in what they said on there, I chose to consolidate. 6 months later, I was ready to listen and act ;)

It's all down to timing and how ready we are to change things.

Finally, I owe less than £10,000!!!

I am so thrilled I can't tell you! :rotfl: £50 arrived at last from A&L for introducing a colleague to them, £8 mystery shopping and I put the rest that I had in to bring me down to £9,997.07.

I don't really know why I am so happy as I still owe loads but I just am!!! Feels closer to the end somehow! :p

That's it really, no other major update except we are moving to our first house on December 13th :Dand OH is trying to kill me with packing :rotfl:
