You should be so proud of yourself and proud of your OH too. I am so happy for you :T :T :T
Hey D&DD
I remember you were one of the first to reply to my desperate message. It was a Sunday evening, cold, miserable and I felt like my whole world was collapsing around me. I shiver just thinking of how I felt that night - and a few nights after that!
Did I ever think that 9 months later I'd be posting that kind of update? Never in a million years. I was in a hole and couldn't see a way out but I hadn't accounted for the amazing powers of the DFWs! I am just grateful beyond words!
Thank you :TLeason learnt :beer:0 -

Well done Moozie! Although I was a 'late comer' it took me a couple of hours reading through with some coffees and at the end I had gone up with the ups, and down with the downs with you - you have done so well and it can only get better as you pay more and more off. Martin should make you a case study! :TMFW #185

Lets just say that in the meeting with the publisher the other day Moozie came up as one of the 'debt diary case studies' and is on the list, and I'm hoping (if she agrees) that she will be one of them.... though she doesn't know about it yet(probably does now!)

oooh moozie how exciting, and lots of people will learn from you and your valuable advice.
I have just read (some!) of this post due to it being bumped but while on holiday last week I worked out what I owed and then what oh owed and it came to £12,240. It was a nasty shock to say the least, my oh is also like yours and doesn't agree on certain money matters, and wont help with dealing with our debts-It makes me feel as though no matter how hard I try my hard work will be scuppered by him!
anyway enough winging-I have updated my sig and even though my debt has gone up because of car I had payed a chunk of that!
congratulations moozie and I hope everything keeps getting better for you.xxxofficial dfw nerd club member no 214

Moozie
I've just sat and read your thread with the aid of a nice peppermint tea.
Thanks for such an inspiring story. As one who feels she is pedalling backwards at the moment, this is great to read.
I'm off to subscribe to your thread. What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
