    when the board forst started we would have about 12-14 viewers ,but now its shooting up to at least reble that or more...

    Every new house built should have ALOT of renewable energy sources built into them, they just should, no mucking about. It's a crazy situation. Just stop poncing around and DO IT.


    yup, totally agree

    i also agree with turbines and solar panels etc... but.. the upfront cost is one reason why we don't have them.. well that and the fact our neighbours would moan at the noise of the turbine :rolleyes:

    I take the point nickbrat was making.

    It would be a disaster for countries like say, St Lucia, if we stopped importing their bananas, which is why I emphasised the practice of flying food all over the globe. Bananas travel in a blooming great ship and by lorry, but this is still reasonably efficient, compared with trying to grow them here. It will be tough enough for them when their tourist industry goes paridae-up.

    The same goes for lamb. I prefer Welsh, but it would be a waste not to use New Zealand's capacity for lamb production.

    We don't really need Guatemalan mange-tout though; that's the sort of daft thing which will have to go, or go up in price considerably.
