I think if I am honest I expected to have kids and a husband by now. and sometimes when stuff like this weekend happens (ie overcoming a huge dentist fear, sitting alone waiting and not running away) I just wish some one with there with me. I know I am lucky to have so many friends and stuff to do but some times I get lonely.
and then I start to think about getting a pet - to help with the loneliness, and I know I'd look after them properly and everything but I feel selfish, and Oh I don't know. I start to think for example a Guinea pig, wold live say 6-8 years? well I'd be forty then. its a big commitment for example, in terms of time holidays, weekends how would I ever meet anyone if on top of two jobs, pets, etc. mad rambling I know.
I miss laughing with someone and being held. I need to get out more!!!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Oh Buffy, of course you do, you want some loving, some company, someone to care and someone to have a laugh with. I don't know what to suggest I suppose if you're not putting yourself out there, putting yourself in the shop window you aint gonna get any custom. Pets are truly wonderful companions, as you we lost one our cats last week and Ive lost one before and its heartbreaking when they go, but like you say they have brought and bring so much happiness in to ones life, they're not cheap but with careful budgeting and a sensible insurance policy its doable. I have to say I'm not totally akin to your situation at home but have you thought about having some of what Snoggles is drinkingBuffythedebtslayer wrote: »I think if I am honest I expected to have kids and a husband by now. and sometimes when stuff like this weekend happens (ie overcoming a huge dentist fear, sitting alone waiting and not running away) I just wish some one with there with me.
