Bought a gorgeous colclough harlequin tea set(4 x trios).Bought it for pocket money basically, putting it on ebay right now for £40.
Does anyone here sell on etsy?I fancy giving it a go rather than ebay but the idea of doing my pricing in $ is putting me off, with the exchange rate fluctauting constantly I may have to keep editing my prices.
Also got a cute vintage english china brooch,a little yellow pansy,by Hadleigh in its original box.
I used to make my own jewellery and have sold on Etsy, as well as Big Cartel. I found Etsy good - easy to use, great to drum up business. The currency thing is off-putting at first but you get used to it. I'm not sure how big the pottery/crockery market is on there though? Presuming that's what you'll be selling.
Big Cartel is fab as an e-commerce add on to your own website. Really easy to manage, but ideally you'd want to have a good customer base first, or the ability to advertise your site as Big Cartel is a bit hidden away, it's not like the Etsy community.0 -
