  • SarahSaver - at least your DS1 hasn't got to the stage of my OH who says "what have you done with my pants?" in an accusatory tone, like I've hidden them somewhere!
Anthea cheered me up last night as she was on v.v.late on cable TV and I was at that depressed stage I sometimes get to in the middle of the night when I can't sleep.
The whole program was highly entertaining and I quite forgot what I was fed up about! Still not quite sure why no men take the Anthea challenge....

I have the same apron as Anthea... You know the pink polka-dot one she wore in this weeks' episode... :D

I have baskets by the, well, basket-load lying around my flat at the minute waiting for me to organise them Anthea-style... I just have too much stuff that needs basketing and need to prioritise!!!
  • haven't read all of this but i too like anthea - you can also see it on thursday evenings on bbc3 about 8ish i think.

I also like anthea although tad annoying at times too - i think she wanted children but can't have them and has had failed ivf too - think she was on fern and philip.

DS1 was in hysterics with his contagious giggle what anth had her knickers on her head. We replayed it a couple of times because we have a HD freeview box. Haven't had a laugh like that in ages.
Dont think se would challenge a man as it seems to be her idea is it's a woman's work...

Sarah she's had two men on so far, one was only a couple of weeks ago and the other was in the first series I think. She was definitely fighting a losing battle with the latest one as I have never seen a more bone idle bloke in my life and I thought no one could beat my XDH but this one didn't even have a job!

She used them as a temporary scrunchie to keep the hair out of her face while she was cleaning :D

erm, just watched this weeks program, did anyone else find the tea in the trainers a waste of good tea? i'll stick to my cat litter i think.

Definitely!| And what was the point of putting the oil in after the tea? I mean, if the idea was not to get the oil on the sock, then it seemed pointless, whereas if you didn't care about harming the sock, wouldn't it have been cheaper to just fill itwith something cheaper (because she said the tea was to absorb the sweat) like shredded newspaper or something? I was quite miffed because I was sure she was about to say 'bicarbonate of soda'!

i asked my hubby the questions sarahsaver posted as his reply was, the day u become excalty like anthea is the day i walk. lol. he said he loves me being organized and having a clean a tidy home etc . and is proud the way i take great pride in it. but thinks some of the times she does is extremly annoying and far to ott .

my home isn't immacutale. (how can it be i have 3 kiddies under 3 ) but i do think being organized and having a routine is a fantastic way in keeping a home running smoothly.
