a friend stayed here, in Saundersfoot nr Tenby http://www.swallowtree.com/

We met someone who stayed at a site in Amroth, again nr Tenby and they were delighted with it, not sure of the name of it though. Stunning beach close by too.
Swallow tree just outside Saundersfoot, really clean, beautifully laid out, swimming pool [me and a young family of 4] good restaurant/bar. Also has a small camp site, very well laid out, with about 6 pitches, you need to book up well in advance for that [recommendation in itself]
  • Take a look at this one its 4 min walk to the beach very picturesque, caravan new, pool and lots lots more its has it all on the website, 10 min drive to folly farm 15 mins to oakwood both great for the kids (well and the big kids)

Another Parkdean site - Ruda in north devon, minutes from beach on foot, park was spotless when we visited last year, lovely indoor pool onsite, caravan was clean and tidy, staff all went out of their way to make our stay a good one. We are going back at easter, lol!

There are some really rave reviews for Ruda on trip advisor etc too x

Sorry it's not in the area you are wanting but a few years ago, for 2-3 in sequence, we went to Far Grange at Skipsea (on the East Coast) and loved it. It was a very 'classy' site. As our children has grown up we've moved away from caravan holidays so can't say what it is like now.

The reason I have given the link is because, I booked with them and a lot cheaper than kiln park charge, do agree kiln park are way to over priced , I have booked through them in the passed, and also done the sun holidays there but a friend told me it was cheaper to find privately owned caravans on site a big money saver, just had a look at the link above u give, it looks the same thing all privately owned.
I also see butlins on the site you give, :heart2:love it there lots to do there but for bockster there are sticky carpet there and the rooms aren’t always clean enough when I last went but still worth going, great there too.

Bit gutted you posted this one. I sent them an email and they are fully booked for the week we wanted. It looks like a lovely park though.

Parkdean are usually of a pretty high standard - we stayed in Crantock Beach, Cornwall, but there is no pool (it's a very small park).

parkdean - elgin isnt. went using those sun holiday tokens and it must have been a caravan at the lowest level...vile.

We have just returned from holiday at Hoburne Park in Christchurch - dorset. The caravan was gorgeous ( was really worried about it ) but spotless, the pool great. Had both indoor and outdoor pool. We werent kean on the entertainment but that wasnt the reason we were going anyway. Kids loved (7 &10) loved the amusements and the playpark - Would highley recommend it.
No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:
