uk caravan park....with class!!

as have most people, we,ve visited a few caravan/chalet parks over the years, but none have ever been of any standard for various reasons.

can anyone recomend a uk holiday park with decent standards, i'm talking picturesque, kept very clean, not dreading the condition of the caravan/chalet, non sticky carpet in the restaurents, clean swimming pool without fearing ear infections the week after!

looking to visit south/devon/cornwall/pembrokeshire, 2 adults, 2kids 5&8

We met someone who stayed at a site in Amroth, again nr Tenby and they were delighted with it, not sure of the name of it though. Stunning beach close by too.

We loved Challaborough Bay in South Devon, it has its own private beach and island. The caravans are of a fantastic quality and there is also a swimming pool, sports hall, bar, gym, play area for the kids and cafe on site. A two minute walk away and there is a grocery shop...however the bay istself is out of the way, you would definately need a car to get there.

P.S. When we went to South Devon the kids particularly enjoyed the visits to nearby Paignton Zoo and Babbacoombe model village.

Parkdean are usually of a pretty high standard - we stayed in Crantock Beach, Cornwall, but there is no pool (it's a very small park).

Our fave has to be Searles at Hunstanton. Family run and well established. Great beaches nearby too.

Another nice one is Church Farm, Pagham, Sussex.

Both very nice and best two we have visited.

My honest opinion if the park is as posh for posh sakes it isnt that good for kids these have good accommadation plenty for the kids good clean pool nice area places to go.

i'm liking the look of this one, the only thing is i can't find any info on what facilities might incuur/incurr/incure??**? extra charges if at all. ie, spa pool, gym? i would expect it for things like mini bowling and such like. can you shed any light?
