I am not a Government robotic penpusher and I think it is already clear they are in the minority.

You are the one who has been rude and offensive to people on this thread and now you are trying to play the pity card, it wont work. If you want hugs and kisses this is not the forum for it. I assume you realise what you are doing, if not I do feel sorry for you!

If you read my post correctly I quote " you appear to be a Goverment pen-pusher ". I`m so glad you think that Im playing the pity card. I just hope for your sake that the same doesnt happen to you, I wouldnt wish it on anyone.

Have you ever read any of the Bankruptcy threads on this forum, & seen how scared & frightened they are. I m sure you wouldnt be saying to them " oh you poor thing, I can hear the violins now ", when they tell you that they have been made redundant, or about to loose their family home. You have no idea what it is like to walk out of your family home with 2 kids because the bank has called the money in, loose your job, then move in with parents.

There is a lot of folk in this position at the moment, you are one of the lucky ones if you still have a job, please dont jest at other peoples misery.

    Goodnight.

    Rictina.

No one is 'ganging up' on you. However you were very rude. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but you may consider using some tact when posting something that is likely to offend many people.

I am sure that we all have sympathy for the loss of your Range Rovers and your BMW. Poor thing.

What about my home which I have lost, do you give sympathy for that, or does it not matter about a roof over your head ?

Is there a reason why you keep writing that?

Do you not know what it means ? If so why ask, or are you just being a little bit sarcastic ?

You are playing the pity card after your previous rudeness.

You are the one who keeps going on about their family etc, it has nothing to do with this thread.

We were talking about the cars and you know that so please stop playing your silly games.

I fail to see how this is helping the original poster. Please stop this now, if you have nothing positive to say don't say anything. Rictina, I am sure none of us would wish to be in your situation, I hope it works out for you.

Now will someone answer the original question.

  • Thanks for the advice,

I was sorely tempted to let them take me to court so I could stick it to em, but dont need the stress.

I got to speak to someone who appear to know her stuff, so hoping this will be the end of it..hah

A bloke was in the paper a few weeks back Croydon chased him for months re a £5.60 bill...they are proper nuts.

I think their IT systems are not joined up and send out demands, without regard for what is happening in the account.

Even worse decided to go direct debit, they just made changes to their non direct debit cusomers systems without even bothering to notify me that these new dates to pay by were being cast in stone and those who fail to pay shall rue the day.

I have sent a series of emails to customer services, offering my services as an IT Consultant, offering to help them improve their IT systems.. no reply as yet... cant think why.
